Alrighty, so, uh, it's been exactly two months since I've last posted a journal and over three since I uploaded something (but I just rectified that situation). Instead of a long-winded journal about what I've done, I'll just give a few facts...

-Watched all Doctor Who seasons through the fifth one and started the sixth
-Realized that Christopher will always be my Doctor
-Drawn loads of stuff
-Gotten better at drawing (or at least, I think so)
-Made my parents watch Sherlock
-Made new friends :3
-Got my letter notifying me that I will in fact be attending Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp this summer! (which is my first camp eva!)

Oh, and not to mention that I have seven days left of my sophomore year. I'M ALMOST A JUNIOR!

...that also means I have to study for exams, so peace out, yo.

'Actress Lucy Liu has joined the cast of the CBS show Elementary, which is a Sherlock Holmes TV remake, in America.

The 43-year-old will star in the pilot as Joan Watson, Sherlock's side-kick, which has been traditionally played by men. Watson will live with Sherlock in New York.

If the pilot is picked up, a series will be made and aired in the autumn.

British star Jonny Lee Miller has taken the lead as the legendary sleuth Sherlock.

The detective series will be based in a modern day New York, and there is no more information about which of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories the show will tackle.

The show is being written and executive produced by Robert Doherty. Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly will also be executive producers.

The UK version, which is called Sherlock will return for a third series and will star Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, with Martin Freeman as his side kick, John Watson.

Last year, Miller appeared on stage with Cumberbatch, in the National Theatre's Frankenstein.'

But seriously. I was literally flipping out when Tony came on (I was doing dishes and my feet were wet and I slid and fell when I heard "THIS IS THE VOOOOOICE!"

His performance was beautiful *-* I tweeted him saying that he should sing Welcome To The Black Parade. IMAGINE THE HAND MOTIONS

Also...I have a new obsession with Sherlock...
QuiteCrazy takes full blame, because it is her fault that I stayed up until 3:30 IN THE MORNING watching The Reichenbach Fall and trying not to cry (which I failed at)...I won't spoil it because if you haven't watched it, you need to. Seriously.

My mom says Benedict looks like a rat.

Another reason she's off her rocker.

Also, the conversations I have with my friends are never normal. Ever. At all.
